Solar Power Residential Grid-Tie Systems

Solar Power for homes that already have conventional electricity. Our systems consist of solar modules ("panels") and components that transform the sun's energy into electricity to power the home.

Energy surrounds us. Energy touches us every moment of the day. Energy from the sun sustains life. Now, that energy can be harvested for your benefit.

Today, concerned homeowners who care about their families and the future can take a more active role in protecting the environment. With residential systems designed by ETA, anyone can easily reap the benefits of this clean, safe, and inexhaustible source of energy. ETA staffs the most experienced engineers, who have been working with solar power for over 30 years, and have designed thousands of systems. With their wide range of products, ETA can design a custom system that fits your needs. Everything ETA does comes from the philosophy of ecological responsibility and sustainability. Combine that with engineering expertise, and you are guaranteed the most complete, efficient, cost effective, environmentally sound system. Because there are no moving parts, once installed, these systems are incredibly low maintenance, very reliable, and are guaranteed to produce electricity for at least 25 years. Most systems come with an easy user interface that provides readouts on power production, consumption, and more.

Solar Power: it's more affordable than you think

Because solar electricity frees consumers from relying on our ever-diminishing fossil fuel resources, and creates no pollution, the government and power companies currently offer incentives that reward globally conscious, pro-active members of society who use the sun to power their homes. Today, solar technology is more affordable and accessible to the mainstream than ever before. Depending on where you live, current incentives can cut system costs up to 50% -- sometimes even more. In addition, many power companies will buy back the excess energy you produce. ETA's buying power as a distributor of several major brand of solar modules and components insures that you will get the right products at the best price. As conventional energy costs continue to increase, so do your savings. This is a long term investment that can increase the value of your home.

Grid-Tie System Components and Electricity Flow.
There are 3 components to most grid-tie systems: the solar modules, the module mounting (roof or ground mounting), and the power inverter. All wiring is included, and optional items such as battery banks and remote controls are also available.

We provide many options to create a customized system to fit your needs. We offer a wide variety of solar modules, module mounting, power inverters, and battery banks. Click on any component for detailed product information.

Grid-Tie System without battery bank.

The Solar Array with roof Mounting (ground mounting also available) is
positioned to produce maximum amount of electricity from the sun.
The Inverter makes
the electricity usable.
Electricity flows
through your
outlets.
Excess electricity is sold to the power company.

Grid-Tie System with battery bank.

roof Mounting
(ground mounting also available) is positioned to produce maximum amount
of electricity from the sun.
The Photo-

Battery
Charge Regulator
regulates the flow to your battery bank.
Electricity is stored in the Battery
Bank
for emergency use.
The Inverter

through your outlets.
Excess electricity is sold to the power company.

Note: in accordance with the National Electric Code (NEC), if you do not have a battery bank, and the utility power grid is shut off, your solar grid-tie system shuts down as well, leaving you without electricity until the grid is turned back on.
