Solar Powered MasterCool®
Evaporative
Coolers

Engineering, Inc. converts MasterCool® units for DC use. MasterCool®
coolers are considered the best residential and small commercial
cooler available in Arizona, and use half as much power as regular AC coolers. These units are not typical evaporate coolers in that they do not run on conventional power grid electricity (AC). Our DC motors - rated at 83%
efficiency - make the coolers significantly more efficient than their 120
VAC couterparts.
WARNING: If your building is already connected to the grid, this system is probably not for you. Instead, we recommend a grid-tie system, which allows the use of solar electricity year round, while also benefitting from utility company rebates.

nominal 48 Volts DC.

horsepower with corresponding lower air flow and even lower energy
